How To Use Timber Cafe Furniture to Create A Variety Of Looks

oak ladder back chair with cushionWe’re currently running a sale on timber for the whole of May so we thought a post giving you a few hints and tips of how to incorporate some of the products we have on offer was probably quite appropriate.

Timber is one of those materials that lends a warm feel to an interior so it’s always good to include some timber furniture whenever possible. Timber often conjures up images of traditional, rustic furniture such as in ladder back chairs, Detroit stools, and Bentwood furniture, but as you’ll see from our Madeline chairs, it can also look ultra modern. Timber also has the ability to be mixed and matched with other materials to create different effects.

Traditional

If you’re after a traditional look then we currently have walnut table tops on offer which easily attach to most table bases, so you can create your own style of table. To go with these we’re also discounting the price on our walnut ladder back chairs, which come with or without a cushion. To add interest and height to your interior why not include some ladder back bar stools which could be placed in corners with some bar tables. Taking up less space than chairs, they’ll also maximise your floor space and, hopefully your profits. Walnut can create a dark looking space so why not go for a vibrant colour on your walls to offset dark furniture. A spicy wine colour will add warmth and depth even in a small cafe and you could use a few gild edged mirrors on the walls to bounce the light around. Another trick is to use a couple of statement chandeliers which also light up your space really well.

Modern

If your cafe has a modern theme then our Madeline chairs could fit in really well. Sleek and contemporary they’re made from plywood and aluminium so wouldn’t look out of place in an industrial setting. The waterfall edge to the front of the seat makes them really comfortable while the cut out in the top of the chair makes a quirky design feature and also acts as a carry handle. Why not be bold and use the pink Madeline chairs sat around jet black table tops to add a real burst of colour. Or for a funky look, you could use white tables and place an assortment of coloured Madeline chairs around them.

Don’t forget the little ones

Finally, we’ve got high chairs on sale for our youngest diners available in walnut, mahogany and oak. Perfect for placing at the end of tables, they allow parents to enjoy a coffee and slice of cake without having to balance a wriggling tot on their laps.

Why not take a look at our timber sale and get inspired. If you’d like more information on any of our products then please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 07 3205 1616 or pop into our Brendale warehouse and take a look for yourself.
